Existing MySQL databases are not affected
Existing MySQL databases are not affected and remain fully usable, with no data migration required.
Alternative for relational databases
If you need a relational database, you can create a CloudBase PostgreSQL database environment (PG mode). Environments in this mode come with an out-of-the-box PostgreSQL instance that supports full SQL capabilities, transactional consistency, and a two-layer permission model based on GRANT + RLS.
