Notice on New Environments No Longer Supporting Document Databases

Effective October 30, 2026, the CloudBase console no longer offers the document database option when you create an environment.

Existing environments are not affected​

Environments created before October 30, 2026 are not affected. The data, collections, indexes, and security rules of the document database stay unchanged, and the SDK and HTTP API call methods also stay the same.

Using document database capabilities in a new environment​

To use document database capabilities in a new environment:

  1. Choose PostgreSQL database when creating the environment
  2. Enable the Document plugin (pgdoc) for the database in the Document editor of the CloudBase console

Once enabled, clients keep using the document database HTTP API and SDK with unchanged call methods.

Plugin availability and versions are subject to what the console displays.
