CPU and Memory Configuration
This document describes how to specify the CPU and memory allocation for each cloud hosting instance. By default, the system configures the cloud hosting container instance with 1 core CPU and 2 GiB memory. You can follow the instructions on this page to increase or decrease these values.
Configuring and Updating CPU Settings
By default, the system configures each instance with 1 core CPU and 2 GiB memory. You can change this value to other values described on this page.
CPU and Memory
The configuration requirements for CPU and memory are as follows:
CPU (Cores) | Memory (GiB) |
---|---|
0.25 | 0.5 |
0.5 | 1 |
1 | 2 |
2 | 4 |
4 | 8 |
8 | 16 |
16 | 32 |
Alternatively, if you want to use less than 1 CPU core, you can choose 0.25 or 0.5 cores. Values greater than 1 must be integers. CPU and memory configurations must meet the following requirements:
- The ratio of CPU to memory is 1:2, meaning 1 CPU core requires 2 GiB of memory
- The minimum CPU is set to 0.25
- The maximum CPU is set to 16
Configure CPU Limit
Any configuration change results in the creation of a new version. Subsequently released new versions will also adopt this configuration.
