FAQFrequently asked questions
Key points on billing switches, free environments, tokens, and SLA.
What are resource points and how are they converted?
Resource points are a unified unit covering many cloud resources, converted at 1,000:1 to CNY. Database, functions, storage, CDN, AI, and more deduct from the same pool at official unit rates.
Will service stop when plan quota runs out?
Paid plans can enable overage pay-as-you-go to continue billing by actual usage after plan points are used; the free tier does not support resource packs or pay-as-you-go. Enablement and status are shown in the console.
Can I switch back from resource point billing to the old model?
No. Official rules do not allow reverting after switching to resource point billing. Legacy plans must be upgraded to current plans before switching.
In what order are resource packs and plans deducted?
Deduction order: plan resource points → resource packs → pay-as-you-go. Available pack tiers, validity, and scope are on the
official purchase page.
How are AI model tokens billed?
Built-in models bill by input, output, and cache-hit rates per model, in resource points per million tokens. Models and prices update—see the
official Token pricing; legacy Token pack migration follows console notices and official announcements.
Does CloudBase offer an availability SLA?
Yes. CloudBase service availability is at least 99.95%, with tiered compensation if not met, for customers on paid plans with charges. See the
CloudBase SLA; Cloud Run has a
separate SLA.
What happens when a free trial environment expires?
Free environments can be renewed once for 6 months, within 1 month before expiry. Expiry, resource release, and mini program publish rules follow console prompts and official pricing docs; production workloads should upgrade and back up in time.
Will I be alerted when resource point balance is low?
Yes. When balance falls below 10% of plan quota, email and console alerts are sent. Alerts are reminders, not spending caps; CloudBase is not a Supabase-style spend cap.
Are plan points separate quotas per resource?
No. Points form one shared pool—database, functions, storage, traffic, and AI in the same environment all draw from it at their unit rates. Scenario examples are for sizing only, not per-resource grants.
Can I use page prices as procurement quotes?
No. Promotional prices, packs, enterprise discounts, and model pricing may change; this page is for understanding billing. For purchase decisions, use the
resource point pricing doc,
plan comparison, and actual purchase pages.
